St. Francis House

The St. Francis House has served the homeless in Sioux Falls since 1987. It offers housing and 3 meals a day to those in need. It's a mission Levo supports through donations and through volunteering! Learn more by watching the video.Transcript:

(0:00) Levo is pleased to give this donation to the St. Francis House, which focuses on moving people from homelessness to hope. (0:08) And Julie here from the St. Francis House is going to tell us a little bit about their mission. (0:12) Well, thank you so much.

(0:14) And as you already stated, Jenna, our mission is moving people from homelessness to hope. (0:19) And a great way of us being able to do that is, of course, welcoming them into our home (0:24) and making sure that they are well taken care of and fed. (0:27) So the funds that we received today from Levo is going to help make sure that we continue to provide nutritious meals for our guests.

(0:34) Since we provide three meals a day, which is about 11,000 meals a month. (0:39) And we buy a lot of items for our guests when they take sack lunches to work. (0:45) So most take two because the requirement is everyone has to be working.

(0:49) And so many take two sack lunches. So we make about 80 sack lunches a day for our guests. (0:54) Wow, that is fantastic.

(0:55) This makes a huge impact of being able to buy that protein for their sandwiches. (1:01) So that they're able to continue working and being part of our wonderful workforce in our community. (1:06) What a wonderful mission.
