Give to the community. Do tell us what you've been up to. Get $1000 bucks!

Levo Credit Union is providing (6) $1,000 Scholarships to qualifying current High School Seniors and/or those currently pursuing secondary education who have contributed to the community in the last 12 months. Tell us in what ways you've gotten involved to help your community and submit by April 4th, 2025. The scholarship check will be made payable to your attending school or university.

Eligibility

Student entrants must be members of Levo Credit Union and in good standing, or meet the eligibility criteria and become members before submitting the entry form. A parent's membership does not qualify in place of the student. Levo employees, volunteer officials, affiliates, and their relatives are ineligible. The applicant must show proof of enrollment before scholarship funds will be disbursed.

Requirements

Completed and signed application form.
Letter of recommendation from an unrelated person who is familiar with the applicant's community.
Personal video or essay on your community service activities.

Digital Submission

Step 1: Recommendation

Acquire and provide a digital letter of recommendation from an unrelated person who is familiar with the applicant's community service activities. This must be signed by the author. Will accept PDF, JPG and Microsoft Work documents. (May choose to scan document.)

Step 2: Essay

There are 2 forms of digital submissions you can choose from:

Video
Simply record a 2-minute video by phone or digital camera that shows us how you have contributed to your community. It is recommended that you save your videos to YouTube or Vimeo and provide a link. (Important things to consider when making your video, are creativity, enthusiasm, authenticity, and community involvement.) Have fun!
Essay
Write a short essay of no more than 500 words, telling us about how you've contributed to your community.

STEP 3: Submit

Mail-In Submission
