(0:00) I just really want to thank Levo Credit Union for donating and caring about our community. (0:07) And then I just want to thank these two, John and Karen Walker, for nominating Compassion. (0:11) I think one of the things that we've all, if you've been watching the news lately, are aware of is (0:18) how childcare in this city has gotten way more expensive and there's not near enough of it.
(0:23) And so this money is going to be used to help working families, lower income families, be able to afford childcare. (0:30) And so we're not just doing childcare at Compassion, we're getting kids ready for kindergarten. (0:34) And so it's just a huge help to have people in the community like you that are going to step up, (0:40) for people that nominate and get the word out about what Compassion does.
(0:44) It's a big deal to us, so thank you. (0:46) And we're excited about Compassion's efforts to also train parents, give job training to parents, (0:51) and counseling services, and a lot of other resources as well. (0:54) So thank you for the work that you do in the community and thank you for nominating them.
